Dan Loschen has been playing piano on the Boston area since the late '80s. His versatility enables him to perform in a wide variety of contexts, from solo piano (jazz or classical) to small group jazz, accompanying jazz vocalists, and cabaret.
Dan has performed functions (weddings, corporate events, private parties) throughout New England, including the North Shore, South Shore and Cape Cod, Western suburbs, the Worcester area, and as far as New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island and even Connecticut. He lives in Winchester, just north of Boston.
Dan has also had regular engagements at The Charles Hotel in Cambridge, Tosca in Hingham, and The Marriott in Copley Square. As the music director of Boston Musical Theater, he has performed many themed cabaret-style concerts, at the Regattabar, Lincoln Center, The Arsenal Center for the Arts in Watertown, and the National Heritage Museum in Lexington. Boston Musical Theater has also toured in South Korea and Russia, giving concerts and teaching masterclasses.
